The current pandemic has brought about many changes in the way we live, one of which is the need to wear a mask daily. While most people initially wore surgical masks, many of us have started moving towards reusable masks, which are both more eco-friendly and less stressful on our wallets.
As a mother and an art director, I was faced with a dilemma. For the safety of my family and children, I wanted a comfortable, breathable mask that follows CDC and WHO guidelines. However, since we would need to wear this for the foreseeable future, the artist in me was looking for attractive, fashionable designs.
After searching high and low in both physical stores and online, I was still unable to find reusable masks that met my criteria of being of great quality, safe and still attractive. Masks that met international guidelines tended to be plain, while more creative designs often were made of less safe fabrics or did not provide sufficient coverage.
Because of that, I decided to create my own reusable face masks for my family that followed CDC and WHO guidelines, but still had a strong design element to it. After we started wearing them out, we received many comments from friends asking where we got them. Because of that, I decided to create Bloom Diary to share with everyone. Bloom Diary marries the best of both safety and design, at an affordable price. I hope you will love them as much as we do.
If we all mask up and continue to be socially responsible, we can stop the spread of diseases together.
